Ni no Kuni sequel possible if PS3 version succeeds in the west
Speaking with Famitsu (via AndriaSang) Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino had a few things to say about a possible sequel to last year's Ni no Kuni for PlayStation 3.
While not released yet overseas, Hino says that he'd like to see the series continue if the game is successful in the west. He remains confident, citing past games such as Dark Cloud and Layton which have gone on to sell much more outside of Japan.
But why is localization taking so long? Hino says it's because they're making sure the translation is done well - a hefty task with over 1 million words in the game's script. There are also plans to provide some "western specific" content which may include new DLC, monsters, and more. Full details have yet to be revealed.
