Atlus releases 'Josef's Guide to Training!' trailer for Unicorn Overlord

Atlus has pulled back the curtain on the third 'Josef's Guide' series of trailers for the upcoming tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord. As previously shown in the previous Josef's Guide to Exploration and Josef's Guide to Interaction! trailers, the new Josef's Guide to Training! showcases the Class and Promotions system in action.

This installment of Josef's Guide has been detailed previously when Atlus and Vanillaware shared information on Class Types and Promotions in Unicorn Overlord previously. Players must carefully consider the composition of their squads and ensure they don't engage in battles that have classes that inherently have the upper hand tactically. One of the ways they can improve a class's weakness is by promoting them.

Unicorn Overlord launches on March 8 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

In the trailer, the game’s protagonist Alain receives commander training from his holy knight protector Josef. Alain learns how to assemble his troops through using a variety of versatile character classes, boosting character stats through promotions and utilizing training items that grant experience to characters outside of combat.

From the creators of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Unicorn Overlord offers players an epic fantasy experience where they will travel across a vibrant world, cultivate a grand army with over 60 uniquely designed characters and grow their renown throughout the five nations. Unicorn Overlord is rated T and will be available starting on March 8, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
