Jyamma Games delays Enotria: The Last Song in order to avoid Elden Ring
Jyamma Games has announced (via Discord) that soulslike RPG Enotria: The Last Song will be delayed to a later date this year, explicitly in order to avoid the launch of Elden Ring's expansion.
On February 20, Jyamma Games announced that Enotria would launch on June 21 for consoles and PC. On February 21, Bandai Namco and From Software announced that the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree would also launch on June 21.
Well aware of the release date situation, Jyamma games decided it would be best to delay Enotria. A new release date will be shared on March 21 during a Future Game Show stream. A message from CEO Greco Giacomo can be found below.
I wanted to thank all the gamers and content creators who supported us during the launch of our latest trailer.
We are perfectly aware that release on the same day as Elden Ring for us, as for any other game, would be suicidal.
For this reason, we were ready immediately to be able to take different paths and possibly postpone the game.
On the 21st of March, during the Future Game Show, we will release our gameplay trailer, and on that occasion we will also let you know the new release date of our title.
We will also have another big news to communicate to you on 21st of March, so we ask you to be patient and to continue to follow and support us.
Thank you very much everyone.
Greco Giacomo CEO of Jyamma Games
