Final Fantasy XIV launches for Xbox Series X|S on March 21

During the March 2024 Xbox Partner Preview live stream, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIV will launch for Xbox Series X|S on March 21.

Additionally, Square Enix announced that a  Starter Edition (which includes A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood) will be available for free as an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk for a limited time. It's worth noting that the full version of the MMORPG will require both an Xbox Game Pass subscription and Final Fantasy XIV subscription.

Square Enix treated us to a first look at the release date trailer for Final Fantasy XIV Online ahead of its full launch announcement on March 21 for Xbox Series X|S. It was also announced that a Starter Edition will be available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for a limited time from March 21 to April 19, 2024.
