Falcom announces a new Tokyo Xanadu project for the game's 10th anniversary in 2025

Falcom has announced a new Tokyo Xanadu related project, tentatively called Tokyo Xanadu New Project. This new project commemorates the 10th anniversary of Tokyo Xanadu in 2025, although a release date has not be given.

Specific details about the new game are sparse, but Falcom states that although it shares a common worldview with the original Tokyo Xanadu, this new title will have a new setting and new gameplay systems.

The story of young people traveling through the otherworldly realm "Xanadu" is set in Japan's capital city, Kyoto.

Although the game shares the same worldview as "Tokyo Xanadu", the setting has been completely redesigned. The project is being developed as a "completely new title" in which all game systems have been created from scratch!
