Goddess of Victory: NIKKE crossover with Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World announced

Mobile shooter RPG Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is getting its third crossover event on March 21, 2024. This time, the crossing of dimensions should be old hat to some of the characters involved, as NIKKE is crossing over with anime series Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World -. The new event will add the characters Rem, Ram, and Emilia to NIKKE's playable roster.

Re:ZERO is based on the light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki. Its story follows Subaru, a young man summoned to a fantasy world, where he's quickly killed while trying to help Emilia, a young half-elf. Subaru revives several hours in the past, and realizes he can travel back in time when he dies while retaining his memories. He decides to use this power to help himself and others. Emilia is the series' main heroine, while Rem and Ram are twin maids who work with Subaru at the Roswaal mansion. The Re:ZERO crossover event is titled "Re:cipe For You", and appears to involve the NIKKE characters Ade, Soda, and Cocoa, who themselves are maid-themed.

Players joining the crossover event will be able to earn a free copy of Ram as an SR-rarity Sniper Rifle unit by playing the event stages. Meanwhile, Emilia and Rem will join players' rosters based on their luck in the gacha. Emilia is an SSR-rarity Rocket Launcher unit, while Rem is an SSR-rarity Machine Gun unit.

This will be the second time NIKKE has crossed over with a well-known anime series. The game's first cross-brand event involved Chainsaw Man, the series based on Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga of the same name. That event added Makima, Himeno, and Power. The second crossover event involved NieR: Automata and added Pascal, A2, and the Goddess of Collaboration Events herself, 2B.

NIKKE is available on PC and mobile devices. The Re:ZERO crossover event kicks off on March 21, 2024.
