Slice-of-life fishing RPG Moonglow Bay launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on April 11
Publisher Coatsink and developer Bunnyhug Games have announced that Moonglow Bay will launch on April 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The slice-of-life fishing RPG originally released for Xbox consoles and PC (Steam) in October 2021.
Moonglow Bay will also be getting a new free content update on the same day for all platforms. This update - called 'The Picture Perfect Update' - adds a new camera mode, a new questline, and new decorations.

Visit a delightful but dilapidated small town that you can help restore in Moonglow Bay when it sails onto PlayStation and Switch on April 11th. Thunderful, Coatsink and Bunnyhug’s cosy fishing RPG will also be getting new content for the launch, which will be released simultaneously on PC and Xbox. The update will introduce a new camera mode, a brand new questline and new decorations. Moonglow Bay is available to pre-order from 21st March in the Americas, Europe, Korea and Japan with a 25% pre-order discount.
In Moonglow Bay, you play as a rookie angler, struggling to fulfil your partner’s final wish, while the town around you attempts to keep afloat in the face of impending bankruptcy. With only a journal and rod in hand, you must explore the furthest reaches of the ocean to uncover the secrets of Moonglow Bay. Catch fish, cook your haul or show it off at the local aquarium, encounter mythical monsters, upgrade your ship, restore the town and build relationships by helping the locals, either alone, or via drop-in local co-op.
With the new update releasing alongside the PlayStation and Switch versions on April 11th, you can now gain a whole new perspective on Moonglow Bay with a camera mode that will let you see things from your character's point of view. The camera is tied to a new questline that starts with you discovering and repairing it, before you are drawn into a mystery where you will help uncover the skeleton of a long lost sea creature, putting together its bones to figure out its legend. The update will also allow you to decorate your shabby shop, brightening it up with decorations and seating for your customers.
