New trailer and screenshots for Sand Land introduce the Forest Land territory and characters

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer and screenshots for Sand Land, introducing the Forest Land territory and characters.

Sand Land is set to release on April 26 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). A free demo is now available.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today revealed what hides in the barren desert of Sand Land, showing the first glimpse of a new area teeming with places to explore, foes to overcome, and quests to pursue in Forest Land. The upcoming action RPG based on Akira Toriyama’s original work (Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump), takes players on a journey through a colorful yet water-deprived post-apocalyptic world where humans and demons co-exist and struggle over resources. Sand Land is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on April 26, 2024., and is available for pre-orders with Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. In Sand Land, players take on the role of the Fiend Prince Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao, and demon Thief as they set off on an adventure in search of a Legendary Spring hidden in the desert. The game features an exciting mix of melee and vehicular combat, with vast environments to explore and engaging game play that combines the thrill of adventuring with explosive action-packed battles. Players get a variety of I vehicles that they can customize and equip with loadouts to traverse the desert, overcome obstacles, and take on a diverse assortment of mighty foes.
There is more to this seemingly parched world, as revealed today. Beyond the dunes and the scorching desert sun lies a lush and green nation called Forest Land. Although peaceful at first glance, Forest Land is governed by a ferocious army opposing the neighboring Sand Land. Leading this force is Muniel, a brand-new character who is determined to save Forest Land by securing a supply of Aquanium - a powerful but dangerous resource.
Forest Land presents a series of new challenges for Beelzebub and his new allies, also revealed in today’s trailer. Supported by Ann, players will be able to count on her courage in battle and excellent mechanical skills to make their vehicle powerful in explosive battles against each of Forest Land’s army generals.
Sand Land is a popular manga created in 2000 by Akira Toriyama, the author of Dargon Ball and Dr. Slump, that has gained worldwide popularity since its publishing. In a desert world where demons and humans suffer from extreme water shortages, Beelzebub, the Fiend Prince, and Rao, a small-town sheriff, form a tag team and set off on an adventure in search of a hidden water source. In December 2022, the Sand Land project was announced, where various partners have come together to bring this classic manga IP to transmedia. The project started with the co-production of an anime film by Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc.’s Sunrise Studio, Kamikazedouga Co. Ltd., and Anima Inc, followed by the official reveal of the Sand Land game in June 2023.
