Sword Art Online: Last Recollection - Ritual of Bonds Volume 2 DLC launches on April 18
Bandai Namco has confirmed the release date for Volume 2 of Sword Art Online: Last Recollection's Ritual of Bonds DLC series. The latter half of the pack will be available on April 18.
Most of the general gist of the gameplay content in this DLC should be similar to the previously released Volume 1; the dungeon used will also still be the same. The main difference lies in the roster of partner candidates newly available by purchasing this DLC.
One of the most notable inclusions in this list will be Eugeo, who will be available as the only male candidate in a set of DLC scenarios originally intended to determine Kirito's true waifu. In addition, this pack will also include Kureha and Zeliska, the two original heroines who first appeared in Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and are supposed to interact more with the player's avatar as the main protagonist of that entry.
The full list of candidates in Volume 2 is as follows:
- Rain
- Seven
- Alice
- Eugeo
- Leafa
- Yuuki
- Medina
- Kureha
- Zeliska
The release of this DLC should complete the content promised to players who have purchased the game's Premiere Pass. Bandai Namco had previously suggested that both DLC packs would be available by the end of 2024 on December 31, but it turns out that we do not have to wait that long as the release dates for both packs are now known.
This should also wrap up the currently known list of post-release content for Last Recollection, unless Bandai Namco has more in the store for this game, which is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The company had previously released free content via the version 1.15 update patch last March—in-between the two DLC packs—that added the Hololive Vtuber Minato Aqua as a bonus playable character.
