Nintendo excitedly tells everyone about the Switch release of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in an Overview Trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming HD remaster of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door  that provides an overview of what players can expect. It has Mario embark on a journey to find Princess Peach after a treasure venture. The trailer provides a glimpse of some of the game's locales and Mario's unique abilities now that he's made of paper.

Partner up with characters such as Goombella, Koops, Madame Flurrie, Yoshi, and Admiral Bobbery to utilize their unique abilities to traverse the environment. Properly execute Action Commands in combat to maximize the damage inflicted on foes. Dazzle the theater of battle with flashy Special Moves.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is launching on May 23 for Nintendo Switch.
