Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Worldwide Beta receives Story Mode demo and a plethora of New Updates today
Level-5 continues its support of the ongoing Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Worldwide Beta test they're conducting that released on March 28 for the Nintendo Switch. Today, they have expanded the beta for the next entry in the Inazuma Eleven series by unlocking Story Mode, which includes the first chapter of the main story. Additionally, a mountain of new updates have been implemented to enhance the game based on player feedback.
The developers have detailed all the content they've added to the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Worldwide Beta in the Version 1.1.0 Patch Notes at the official website.
Aside from unlocking Story Mode, some of the highlights in the patch include a penalty for those disconnecting from online matches, improving measures against lag that occurs online, and an option to concede during matches. Plus, there is now an Advantage Judgment mechanic that will decide the winner on various factors if the match ends in a tie.
Those who are still learning how to play Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road can now play against a Tutorial AI that has a lower difficulty level. It will be turned off once players complete all the tutorial quests. Tutorial videos have now been altered to be short pages of text with videos that allow players to learn how to play the game at their own pace.
A new "Through Pass" action has been added, which allow people to more easily adjust the direction of their passes when they have possession of the ball. People can use stickers in online lobbies and matches, as well.
While the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Worldwide Beta is only available on Switch at the moment, Level-5 plans to release it onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam at a later date. The new update adds Cross-Save so any progress that players make now on the Switch version can be transferred to the other platforms when the Worldwide Beta demo releases on them.
