The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki launches for PlayStation 5 and 4 in Japan on September 26
Nihon Falcom has confirmed the release date for The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-. The latest entry in the long-running Kiseki/Trails series is now slated to appear for PlayStation 5 and 4 in Japan on September 26.
Falcom has also revealed the main character cast for this title. All eight main characters from Kuro no Kiseki (Trails through Daybreak) — Van Arkride, Agnes Claudel, Feri Al-Fayed, Aaron Wei, Risette Twinings, Quatre Salision, Judith Ranster, and Bergard Zeman — are confirmed returning as party members. Bergard is also set to take a more central role together with Van and Agnes.
In addition, Falcom uploaded a new commercial trailer that teases more characters appearing in Kai no Kiseki. The company also indirectly confirms the return of Cold Steel series protagonist Rean Schwarzer by announcing his Thors Military Academy instructor uniform as an alternate outfit via bonus DLC from pre-orders and early purchases.
Falcom will also release a Limited Edition package of the game that includes the following bonus items:
- Kai no Kiseki Original Soundtrack Mini
- Kiseki (Trails) 20th Anniversary metallic card collection
- Kiseki (Trails) 20th Anniversary memorial pins
- Zemuria BGM Collection DLC (this will let you swap specific in-game BGM with tracks from prior Trails entries from Trails in the Sky to Trails through Daybreak)

The company is currently working on localizing Kuro no Kiseki as Trails through Daybreak for PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC on July 5. However, there is still Kuro no Kiseki II -Crimson Sin- remaining in-between the titles.
