Demonschool unleashes a new Meet the Students trailer showing off more playable characters
Ysbryd Games and Necrosoft Games released a new trailer for Demonschool that debuted at the Guerrilla Collective 2024 event. This new trailer gives a breakdown of what the previously revealed characters are capable of, along with a brief look at some of the extended cast that haven't had much of the spotlight on them yet.
They go over what Faye, Knute, Namako, and Destin's combat roles are with Knute and Namako taking on more support and indrect roles in battle, while Faye and Destin bring about the offense in a more direct way. When we went hands-on with Demonschool at PAX West 2023, we provided a more thorough explanation of the game's mechanics and systems.
Other characters shown off are Fossa, Pangxie, Mercy, Henk, Ti, Jem, Kestrel, and Ocean. The developers provided a tiny sneak peek at what these other party members are capable of, as players eventually will be able to make their own party compositions that best complement their playstyle and the approach they want to take during battle encounters.
Demonschool is set to release in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A new demo is coming for Demonschool when Steam Next Fest starts on June 10.
