Black Myth: Wukong delays Xbox Series X|S version after it releases for PS5 and PC on August 20
Game Science released a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming Chinese mythology action RPG Black Myth: Wukong at the Summer Games Fest 2024 event. The game is still launching on August 20 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam, Epic), but its release on Xbox Series X|S has been delayed according to a Q&A on its official website.
On which platforms can I play Black Myth: Wukong?
PC and PS5 users can enjoy the full game starting August 20, 2024. We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards, so it won't release simultaneously with the other platforms. We apologize for the delay and aim to minimize the wait for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards.
Alongside opening up digital pre-orders for the title, Game Science unveiled several physical editions for Black Myth: Wukong.

Meanwhile, the digital release of Black Myth: Wukong will have a standard and deluxe version. The standard edition will only have the full game, while the Digital Deluxe Edition includes an additional weapon, equipment, a curio, and a selected digital soundtrack.

Black Myth: Wukong is set to launch worldwide on August 20, 2024, for PC and PlayStation 5. The standard and deluxe editions will be available in North America for a MSRP of $59.99 and $69.99 respectively in digital format on PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Black Myth: Wukong physical Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition are available for preorder for a MSRP of $169 and $399, respectively for PC.
