Avowed releases on November 12 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC [Update: Maybe?]
From Carrie Patel, Game Director, and the team:
"The last few months at Obsidian Entertainment have been fast-paced and exciting. Since we saw you at the Xbox Developer Direct this past January, we’ve been busy with Avowed getting it ready for release on November 12, 2024. Today, we’re thrilled to have revealed our first-ever story trailer at Xbox Games Showcase 2024, and to talk with you more about what we’ve shared."
Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios shared a new story trailer for Avowed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 event. Despite being story-centric, the brief trailer was entirely in-game footage that was filled with gameplay.
Players take on the role of an Aedyr envoy sent to the Living Lands to "investigate rumors of a spreading plague with a secret that threatens to destroy everything."
Explore many colorful vibrant environments throughout your journey across the Living Lands. Experiment with a vast arsenal of weapons and magic to find a playstyle that suits you. Dungeons filled with deadly traps, and potentially rich treasures, await your arrival.
Learn about the problems that plague the people of the Living Lands and ultimately, you'll have to choose a side that will affect the outcome of the story.
Avowed is releasing sometime in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
