Rear Sekai receives a western release on August 16 as Elrentaros Wanderings
Publisher Red Art Games announced they are releasing action RPG Rear Sekai to the west as Elrentaros Wanderings for Nintendo Switch on August 16. It was developed by Hakama and originally launched in Japan on October 12, 2023. The original publisher, Bushiroad, will release Elrentaros Wanderings on Steam on August 16 as well, according to its press release, but the Steam page currently lists its release as August 22. The title will cost $39.99 / €39.99, though there will be a 20% discount for one week when it launches.
Red Art Games will launch Elrentaros Wanderings physically on October 11; multiple retailers will sell its Standard Edition that includes the base game, a sleeve, a keychain, and a sticker sheet.
Meanwhile, a Deluxe and Collector's Edition will be available from Red Art Games' online store.
The Elrentaros Wanderings Deluxe Edition (€49.99) will include:

In Elrentaros Wanderings, players create a protagonist and confront a phenomenon that involves two worlds. Meet various townspeople, develop relationships with them, and uncover the mystery behind the dual worlds. Engage in real-time combat through multiple dungeons that reward new weapons and armor.

Red Art Games is proud to announce that it is bringing Elrentaros Wanderings to North American and European Nintendo Switch consoles on August 16 digitally. Bushiroad Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takaaki Kidani; below as “Bushiroad”) has also announced that the game will receive an English language patch on Steam on that date. Known as Rear Sekai in Japan, Elrentaros Wanderings is the latest video game from celebrated Japanese creator Yoshifumi Hashimoto. Digitally, Elrentaros Wanderings will cost €39.99/$39.99 with a 20% discount one week before and on the week of its release. In addition to its digital release, Elrentaros Wanderings will also receive both ESRB and PEGI-rated physical Nintendo Switch versions on October 11. In addition to the game’s Standard Edition which will be available from multiple retailers at launch, two special editions can also be pre-ordered from Red Art Games’ official online store.
