The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II localization leaked by Japanese PSN
Although NIS America has been teasing a new announcement for Anime Expo that we had already assumed would be The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II, we now have what looks to be confirmation that the game will soon be coming west - and it's all thanks to the PlayStation network. X (formerly Twitter) user @Hansuke21 noticed the new logo on their PlayStation 5, with their system set to English - and we were able to confirm independently ourselves, and that the same phenomenon occurs with NISA's logo for the original Trails through Daybreak's Japanese release as well.
Beyond the existence of a translated title, we don't have anymore details to share about the game's localization - so Trails fans will presumably have to wait for NIS America's Anime Expo panels for more details. One thing that we can gleam from the new logo, is that it seems that the subtitle has been dropped from the game. We'll have more information on the localization when it's formally announced, whether that may be next week or at some other later date. The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak (the first one) launches on July 5 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
