Witness how the quest to become the next king begins in Metaphor: ReFantazio with a new Story Trailer

Atlus unveiled a new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio at the Anime Expo 2024 for the upcoming RPG. Director Katsura Hashino and character designer Shigenori Soejima introduced the title to the audience with slides of various artwork of its characters, job Archetypes, and the Gauntlet Runner vehicles. Before concluding the panel, they revealed a story trailer for Metaphor Re:Fantazio.

The trailer takes a closer look of the surrounding events that establish the premise of the game with bits of new gameplay footage. After the untimely demise of the king through an assassination, the question of who will take up the throne is on everyone's minds throughout the United Kingdom of Euchronia.

Players take up the role of a boy from the Elda tribe who has been roped into undergoing the journey to become the next king, in order to free his childhood friend, Euchronia's crown prince, from a curse. Travel across the land and gain the support of the people.

Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on October 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) worldwide simultaneously.
