Genshin Impact Ignition trailer teases Natlan further, introduces Mavuika and more

The latest teaser trailer for the next Genshin Impact playable region introduced more characters from Natlan, which will join the playable area of Teyvat in a future update. The trailer also introduced more characters from the Natlan region, including the firey Mavuika.

Genshin Impact 4.8 Trailer "Ignition"

The trailer features the first look at current events in Natlan, ahead of the Traveler's visit. According to characters Mualani and Kachina (who were first revealed in an earlier Natlan teaser), it's time for a tournament of some sort. The pair releases a marked ball of some sort, which is caught by Kinich, an agile sort accompanied by the pixelated K'uhul Ajaw, a "self-proclaimed Almighty Dragonlord." The ball passes from character to character, including Citlali, who'd rather not participate, the hat-wearing Chasca, and Xilonen, who seems to have jaguar ears and a tail. A smaller character named Iansan is also visible.

The scene then shifts to a large auditorium where Mauvika declares the opening of the tournament, promising that the winner will "take all." Mauvika then moves to an enclosed space, speaking cryptically to the Fatui character Capitano, accompanied by the enigmatic Ororon.
