Metaphor: ReFantazio - "Atlus Exclusive" live stream introduces follower characters and rival candidates

Atlus has released the next "Atlus Exclusive" stream presentation for Metaphor: ReFantazio, discussing candidates for the Tournament for the Throne, as well as followers that can support the protagonist in his own candidacy. For those keeping count, this is the fourth such stream, following Introduction, Archetypes, and Story.

Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on October 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) worldwide simultaneously. For more, you can check out the Story Trailer or details on combat and archetypes. 

During the stream, Studio Zero director Katsura Hashino introduced viewers to the various candidates vying for kingly power in the Royal Tournament. 

The protagonist, who is also in the Royal Tournament, begins his journey at the bottom of the social order – not the kind of person that anyone would expect to be king. Hashino-san explained some of the ways that the protagonist can increase his popularity among the public to compete with his powerful and influential rivals. 

Key to the journey is the multiple followers introduced, who support the protagonist’s efforts to build influence. In addition, Hashino-san described the social bonds the protagonist will build with these supporters and how deepening these bonds will evolve archetypes and upgrade abilities among other things.
