Time-traveling turn-based RPG Saveseeker comes to PC via Steam in 2025
Paper Sword Games has announced Saveseeker, a new time-traveling turn-based RPG. It is releasing on PC via Steam in 2025. Players must stop a hero from destroying the world he saved with his daughter, Emmer Edette.
The story of Saveseeker begins just as the hero Murray has ended his successful journey in defeating all of his villains. He wants to create a new world by getting rid of magic altogether no matter what, but Murray would be destroying the current world in the process of doing so.
Deeply troubled by this decision, his dragon toy sidekick Tippleton turns to the only person who has a shot at stopping him - his daughter. Players control her as she revisits the lands that her dad traveled to overwrite his save points; if she ever is in danger, Emmer has the power to jump back in time to the nearest Save Stop.
Emmer can't undertake this journey alone though. She gradually recruits the enemy bosses that her father previously defeated into her party.

Follow young Emmer Edette and her grumpy toy dragon sidekick Tippleton on an epic quest to thwart her former Hero father and save the world from an untimely end. Travel to distant lands to overwrite his save points, hone Emmer’s special time-traveling ability, and recruit a party of former bosses - each with their own unique abilities and motivations to face the Hero again!
But the path of a hero is far from an easy one. Various enemies lie in wait across six gorgeously animated worlds - from the gloomy dangers lurking in the autumnal Badwoods to aerial heights of the steampunk airship Aertemis - and you’ll need to strategize carefully to help Emmer and her friends succeed in turn-based combat.
