Wuthering Waves version 1.2 arrives on August 15; adds new characters Zhezhi & Xiangli Yao, the Moon-Chasing Festival Themed Event, 120 FPS mode, and more

Kuro Games has shown off the next update coming to their open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves  with Version 1.2. Two new five-star Resonator characters will be added - the painter Zhezhi and the investigator Xiangli Yao. By participating in the new Moon-Chasing Festival themed event, players can obtain Xiangli Yao for free.

In a recent developer letter, there'll be other improvements coming to Wuthering Waves. Players can now call upon a Shooter Hoverdroid with any character to obtain certain collectibles and complete challenge activites in the open-world. Before, players needed to swap to a Gun-wielding character and that may have involved swapping to another team, if their current team line-up already didn't have someone with a firearm before.

The Waveplate stamina system sees further improvements in Version 1.2; people can now receive excess Waveplates through Waveplate Crystals if their stamina has capped out. Up to 480 Waveplate Crystals can be stored, so people won't feel pressured in having their Waveplate stamina cap out for extended amounts of time.

People playing Wuthering Waves on PC can now play the game in 120FPS, as well.
