Gundam Breaker 4 will get Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam from SEED Freedom movie via post-release free update

Bandai Namco has revealed even more content coming to Gundam Breaker 4. The company will add the ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom movie as a new Gunpla kit via a post-release title update patch.

To clarify further, there is an emphasis in the "post-release update" section as that means the Mighty Strike Freedom will not be instantly available at the game's launch. Bandai Namco will announce the exact date of the update that includes the kit at a later time. Meanwhile, in-between this reveal and the second open network test announcement, the company also revealed that the ZGMF-X23S Saviour Gundam from SEED Destiny will also be available in-game at launch.

The announcement was first made in a new promotion trailer made for the game, which was also accompanied by a tweet on the game's official Japanese X account. However, the very trailer in question is region-locked to only Japan for whatever reason, and Bandai Namco has still yet to make it legally available worldwide as of this writing.

Bandai Namco America hosted a live stream featuring the game in between, but this stream showed an older version of the trailer instead of the new one. Even when Bandai Namco did make an official tweet about Mighty Strike Freedom's inclusion on their Southeast Asian X account, it did not include the new trailer in question.

THANK YOU!

In response to the incredible support we've received so far, we are making previously unplanned Gunpla to add as FREE post-launch content!

There is still a way for people outside Japan to watch the new Gundam Breaker 4 trailer, as it has been reuploaded on YouTube. This trailer is part of a long-running series tradition where two characters from a Gundam anime show promote the game with interactions inspired by the original show. This edition features Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala from the Gundam SEED sub-series.

You can watch the new trailer right below for the time being. We will update this article when Bandai Namco has formally uploaded a globally accessible trailer on their YouTube channel(s).

Update (23 August): Although Bandai Namco has still yet to provide a translated version of the long trailer, we have confirmed that the previously geolocked trailer published officially on the Japanese Gundam YouTube channel is now available to watch worldwide. You can also find it right below:
