The Relic: First Guardian unleashes a new gameplay trailer showcasing the dagger, battle staff, and long sword in action
Developer Project Cloud Games and publisher Perp Games released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action RPG The Relic: First Guardian. They provided another look at their ongoing refinements to their combat system.
In the new trailer, the developers have pointed out how they wanted players to feel like they're an assassin with the dagger, so its skills are swift and focused on speed. Meanwhile, the battle staff allows people to cast magical spells in the middle of battle. Those that choose the long sword as their weapon of choice now have a skill that allows them to move more quickly.
Players will face off against creatures inspired by Korean folklore and myths, which are described to be an "integral part of the game's DNA" according to the developers and publisher.
The Relic: First Guardian is slated to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
