Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 pushes release date back to the first half of 2025
Developer The Chinese Room and publisher Paradox Interactive announced that they have made the decision to delay the release of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 back to the first half of 2025; the title, now inherited by The Chinese Room after a complex and troubled development cycle, was originally scheduled to release in Fall 2024.
In a new development update video, Creative Director Alex Skidmore and Paradox Interactive Deputy CEO Mattias Lilja spoke about where Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is currently at in development. The development team is currently iterating and polishing the content of the game.
Due to Paradox Interactive's collaboration with The Chinese Room to grant them more extra development time, Skidmore mentions that the team "can now add more endings to the game" and "allows [them] to address feedback from [their] playtests".
Earlier this year, a huge 33-minute gameplay video for the upcoming RPG was unveiled. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 now releases in the first half of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG).
