Black Myth: Wukong sells 10 million units in three days
Game Science has announced that Black Myth: Wukong has sold 10 million units within three days of launch.
According to SteamDB, Black Myth: Wukong has achieved the second highest concurrent playercount ever for the platform, only trailing PUBG: Battlegrounds - a multiplayer game.
According to Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, as of August 23, more than 93% of the 250,000+ reviews on Steam are in Simplified Chinese, with an impressive 97% of these reviews being positive, showing great interest and critical success in the country.
In Junior's review of Black Myth: Wukong for RPG Site, he described the game as "The most beautiful cutscenes and gorgeous environments, surrounded by a plague of frustrating design choices and performance issues."
Black Myth: Wukong released on August 20 for PlayStation 5 and PC. An Xbox Series X|S release is set to follow.
