The trailer features narration from a mysterious figure lamenting the decline of Avalon, which is trapped in an endless, decaying autumn season. Brief glimpses of the game's combat and exploration are also shown.

First announced back in 2021 and entering Steam Early Access in 2023, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is billed as a dark reimagining of Arthurian legend, where players explore the beleagured island of Avalon, once the home of the long-dead King Arthur. Adapted from the tabletop board game of the same name, The Fall of Avalon will express that dark fantasy style in the manner of a first-person open-world RPG.

Players will be able to customize their characters and combat builds, wielding magic and weapons in each hand as they see fit.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in Q2 2025. It is available in Steam Early Access.
