Owlcat Games and Another Angle Games unveil the announcement trailer of strategy RPG Shadow of the Road

Publisher Owlcat Games and developer Another Angle Games revealed the announcement trailer of Shadow of the Road, an upcoming strategy RPG set in an alternative 19th-century Japan. It is one of the two projects that Owlcat Games is currently publishing. The title is coming to PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.

Shadow of te Road blends Japanese mythology with steampunk technology as the stage is set in a conflict between the Emperor and the Shogun at the end of the Boshin War. Tokugawa's spymaster recruits two wandering ronin, Satoru and Akira; they are tasked with protecting a boy with a massive power he can't control.

More and more characters join their cause and it's up to players to strategize their path to victory. Shadow of the Road will have choices players can make that can shape the future of their characters and the bonds they form with each other.
