Tales of Graces f Remastered unveiled for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC; releases on January 17, 2025
Bandai Namco Entertainment pulled back the curtain on Tales of Graces f Remastered and it is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) on January 17, 2025.
It is an updated release of Tales of Graces f which itself was already an updated port on PS3 of the original Tales of Graces release on Wii. Tales of Graces f initially released in Japan on December 2010 and the western releases followed came in 2012.
In a producer message from Tales General Producer Tomizawa, he claimed that Tales of Graces f Remastered is a project to kick off the Tales series' 30th anniversary celebrations.
Aside from enhanced visuals, the remastered version adds destination icons to indicate where players need to go next to proceed, as well as the option to turn enemy encounters on or off. All the original DLC released for the title will be included.
Plus, the Grade Shop (which usually only unlocks after completing a 1st playthrough in a Tales game) is unlocked right at the start of Tale sof Graces f Remastered. The Grade Shop typically allows players to spend an in-game currency they accrue throughout their playthrough for additional New Game+ features and modifiers, such as Double Item Drops, enhanced EXP gain, more inventory space, and such.
In the press e-mail for Tales of Graces f Remastered, it also mentioned that it will contain "newly localised scenes that will be available in English for the very first time."
