Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake officially debuts its new Monster Wrangler vocation in a new trailer
Square Enix shared a new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake at this month's Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase event. It contained some new tidbits for the highly anticipated RPG remake, including the newly-added Monster Wrangler vocation for the new release.
Plus, players can now choose from several preset cosmetic options for their party members when assigning them a vocation. In the new trailer, choosing the Mage vocation opens up four options for how people want that character to look, as well as their hair color and personality that modifies how their voice sounds.
Party members with the Monster Wrangler vocation obtain the power to cast abilities that monsters were able to use. They can also deploy monsters in specific instances for an unknown reason that players must uncover on their own.
