Square Enix releases Primer Video for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

Today, Square Enix released a primer video for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, with the prodcuer for the remake Shinichi Tatsuke going over the history of the original title, and information about what's new for the upcoming full remake. Shinichi explained some context for the release for western fans, including the original Romancing SaGa 2's contemporaries at its release, such as Final Fantasy VI and Secret of Mana.

For some of the highlights from the primer video; the upcoming remake will be translated in French, German and Spanish - in addition to Japanese and English. Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven will be voiced in both English and Japanese. As part of an option for the remake, players will have new Easy and Normal difficulty modes to choose from in addition to the original Classic difficulty.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on October 24. Stay tuned for our impressions, closer to launch.
