Beyond Galaxyland provides a Gameplay Overview detailing exploration, combat, monster capturing, and more

United Label and Sam Enright shared a new trailer for "retro-futuristic adventure-RPG" Beyond Galaxyland that gives an in-depth look at the title's gameplay loop and various systems. It features a glimpse at some of the types of planets players will traverse through, as well as how battles are conducted.

As mentioned in its release date announcement, Beyond Galaxyland has people step into the shoes of Doug, a normal high school student that happens to enter a wormhole right before Earth, and humanity, is annihilated by a world-destroying entity. Transported far from Earth into the Galaxyland system, Doug sets off on an interplanetary expedition to not only travel back home, but also find a way to reverse its eradication.

During Doug's quest, he'll encounter a variety of alien species and some of them will become his allies. Battles are conducted in a turn-based format and people will have a limited amount of Turn Points to spend on actions before they have to end their turn. Beyond Galaxyland allows players to capture almost any monster in the game, including bosses, to summon them in subsequent fights. Some of them provide helpful buffs when summoned, while other harder to capture foes may reward players with a devastating special attack when they call upon them.
