Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven demo now available; TGS 2024 trailer

Square Enix released a free demo for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

Cullen had a chance to go hands-on with the demo ahead of its public release, and you can check out his impressions. In his words: "Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven is going to ruin my life." The demo contains about 2 hours of content from the beginning of the game, and progress can be carried over to the full release at launch.

Meanwhile, I had a chance to interview Shinichi Tatsuke — producer of Revenge of the Seven — where we discussed the approach to remaking a classic Super Famicom game, its unique inheritance system, and appealing to newcomers.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is set to release on October 24 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). In case you missed it, Square Enix previously detailed:
