Ballad of Antara unveils nearly 15 minutes of new footage in its Gameplay Showcase
Publisher Infold Games and developer TipsWorks Studio shared some new information on their upcoming free-to-play action RPG Ballad of Antara for PS5, PC, and mobile. They've unveiled nearly 15 minutes of new gameplay footage showing off how players will play the game.
The gameplay showcast first begins with players controlling a man with a red mantle wielding a sword. At certain times throughout his combat encounters, he calls upon a younger girl riding a wolf-life creature to briefly come in and perform an attack.
After fighting his way to some sort of shrine, the younger girl sits on some sort of throne to significantly alter the world state of the environment. The world becomes enveloped in dark purple surroundings filled with flowers. A gigantic entity also appears as if it's overlooking the land, as well.
Once the gameplay showcase reaches this state, Ballad of Antara shows off another playable character - a woman wielding a bow and arrow. Eventually, the showcase reaches it conclusion against a fearsome boss where the player is constantly switching between both playable characters, along with calling the aid of the younger girl and her wolf-like companion.
Ballad of Antara is set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. Watch the new gameplay showcase down below.
