Megaton Musashi W: Wired to get Megarobo Batroseum PvP mode and crossover pilots this November

Level-5 has revealed more new post-release content coming to Megaton Musashi W: Wired at the Level-5 Vision 2024 presentation program. The company unveiled two major types of content in this presentation that will come via a free update patch this November, consisting of a new PvP mode and three new guest crossover pilots.

The new PvP mode revealed first in the presentation will be titled Megarobo Batroseum. While the game already has another PvP mode in Colosseum Battle with customizable Rogues, this mode will be distinguished by having preset Rogue units, so players do not have to farm for parts in the main game. The new mode will also have a free-for-all Battle Royale mode in addition to 3v3 team battles.

The second piece of news related to the game is perhaps the most significant one. While the game already features the Getter Robo, Mazinger Z, and Grendizer as crossover units, they did not come with their respective original pilots, so players could only put in-game characters like Yamato and Ryugo to pilot them while providing their own shouts for the super robots' signature attacks. The former will no longer be the case come November, as Level-5 will actually add the original pilots Ryoma NagareKoji Kabuto, and Duke Fleed to the roster. The company has yet to confirm the Japanese voice actors who will be voicing these characters in the game, though.

Level-5 has also uploaded a standalone trailer for the new post-release content coming to Megaton Musashi W: Wired, and you can also find it right below. The game is available worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
