Lunar Remastered Collection releases for PS5/4, Xbox, Switch, and PC Steam worldwide in Spring 2025

The September 2024 State of Play included the revelation of a new remaster compilation of the classic Japanese RPG series Lunar. The compilation shall now be known as Lunar Remastered Collection, and GungHo will release it worldwide in Spring 2025.
GungHo's Asca Akiyama has also published a post that introduces the remasters on PlayStation.Blog. This compilation will generally contain both of the two mainline Lunar entries: The Silver Star and Eternal Blue. But to be more specific, the ones that are actually getting remastered will be Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete; the versions that were enhanced from the original Sega CD releases for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation.
The blog post also details some of the additions coming to the remaster, which includes widescreen support, enhanced pixel art, HD animated cutscenes, and all-new English voice acting. There is also a toggle for 'original' or 'remastered', as well as a turbo-mode toggle that allows players to speed up battles. The collection will also be translated into German and French, alongside English and Japanese.
Not long after State of Play ended, GungHo announced via their X account that Lunar Remastered Collection will also be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in addition to PlayStation 5 and 4. The company has also uploaded a version of the official trailer with multiple platforms on their own YouTube channel. The trailer is available in Japanese and English versions, with the theme song's language being the prime difference. Some of the screenshots from the remaster can also be found below the trailers.
