Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero arrives on January 30, 2025 for PS5, PS4, and Switch while the PC version will launch later in 2025
Nippon Ichi Software and its western branch, NIS America, have both announced that Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is launching worldwide simultaneously on January 30, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. However, the PC version on Steam will follow later sometime in 2025.
The new release date announcement trailer provides a recap of some of the information shared so far on the upcoming strategy RPG. At the beginning of the game, the main character Marona is separated from her companions due to an attack from mysterious Ghost Ships. Marona eventually meets a Phantom girl named Apricot and they both embark on a journey to reunite with their friends.
Some of the islands that players will venture to and their basic storyline arcs are detailed, including the desert island that houses The Kingdom of Hasara. Players will meet many new friends in Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero as each new island Marona and Apricot visits includes new environmental biomes and terrain.
