Utawarerumono Trilogy coming to Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 30
Yesterday during Tokyo Game Show, Aquaplus announced that all 3 games in the Utawarerumono trilogy will finally be making their way to Nintendo Switch, on January 30. At first the games will only be available physically in a trilogy pack retailing for 14,080 yen; the digital bundle for all 3 games, as well as separate physical releases for each game will come later on March 27, with each game retailing for 5,280 yen. In celebration of today's announcement, the company released a trailer showcasing each game that will be included in the pack.
Further details about these ports wasn't released; although, all three games were playable at Tokyo Game Show yesterday. We had the chance to check out the ports for ourselves, so stay tuned for our initial impressions, while we also wait for news of a potential localization; from what we've been told, it appears that localization companies found out about these ports at the same time we did.
Utawarerumono Trilogy launched in Japan on January 30. Western players will continue to have to play the series on PC (Steam) until if and when these ports are confirmed to be coming westward.
