Metaphor: ReFantazio Fix mod enables ultrawide, disables dash speed lines, and more for the PC version

Atlus' Metaphor: ReFantazio is already off to a fantastic start crossing the one million sales milestone in its opening day. One of the key features missing from its PC version is ultrawide support, though. Luckily, the PC community already has a handy fix to enable it, along with other useful features, thanks to user 'Lyall' on GitHub through the Metaphor: ReFantazio Fix mod.

Here is a comparison provided by Lyall on how the ultrawide fix looks.

If you find the speed lines when dashing in the game to be bothersome, this mod allows you to disable that, as well. Other useful features that the Metaphor: ReFantazio Fix mod include skipping all the logos when booting it up and letting people finely tune the level of detail distance, ambient occlusion resolution, shadow resolution, and more.

Installing the Metaphor: ReFantazio Fix mod is super simple. Simply download the zip file from GitHub and extract the zip's contents into the "steamapps\common\METAPHOR" folder. This is easily accessed by right clicking Metaphor: ReFantazio in your Steam Library, highlight "Manage", and choose "Browse local files". In order to adjust the settings offered by the Metaphor: ReFantazio Fix mod, open up the "MetaphorFix.ini" file and follow the instructions in it.

I've also personally installed the mod and took a few screenshots of how dashing looks without speed lines.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). There is a Prologue Demo for the game that supports transferring save data into the full game to continue your save file immediately.
