Metal Slug Tactics to also arrive on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass when it releases on November 5

Leikir Studio and Dotemu have announced that both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers will be able to play their upcoming strategy RPG Metal Slug Tactics when it launches on November 5. The game is also available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam), as well.

Publisher Dotemu and developer Leikir Studio today announced that Metal Slug Tactics’ bold, turn-based RPG adaptation of the iconic run-and-gun series will be playable via Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on Nov. 5, the same day it launches on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for $24.99.

Metal Slug Tactics’ hard-hitting battles are front and center in more than 18 minutes of new footage showcasing the devastating abilities of its most recently revealed playable characters.

Metal Slug Tactics is both a respectful homage to an all-time classic and an imaginative new way to celebrate the renowned series, channeling METAL SLUG’s timeless aesthetic through gorgeous pixel art and fluid animation. The game’s highly replayable battlefields pair shuffled layouts from hand-crafted sectors of terrain with subtle roguelite elements, pushing players to adapt and overcome unpredictable clashes as they master dynamic, strategic combat. Wield classic METAL SLUG weaponry, leveraging skill trees, perks, and a super attack-fueling adrenaline system to outwit and demolish the flanks of the series’ signature villains.
