Digimon World: Next Order surpasses 1 million units sold
Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon World: Next Order has surpassed 1 million units sold worldwide.
The game originally released in the west in January 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. A remaster was released in February 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
Currently, no future console Digimon titles have been formally announced. However, former Bandai Namco producer Kazumasa Habu announced back in 2018 that a new Digimon Story game was under development. While Habu is no longer working on the Digimon series, he stated earlier this year that development on the new game is still underway.
