Square Enix's Strategy RPG Emberstoria launches on November 27 for iOS, Android, and PC in Japan

Square Enix just announced that Emberstoria, its strategy RPG, will launch in Japan on November 27 for iOS, Android, and PC (DMM). Emberstoria was revealed last month following a Square Enix trademark for it about two years ago as a free-to-play game for Japan. Square Enix calls Emberstoria a strategy RPG, but it also has some RTS elements in the bit of gameplay shown so far. Today, the Japanese release date for Emberstoria was revealed alongside the game's final trailer.

If you missed the full reveal from last month, Square Enix's Emberstoria features character designs from Yusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem: Awakening, Fire Emblem Fates), music from Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy XIII, SaGa Frontier 2), and has a main scenario written by Benny Matsuyama (Imperial SaGa). As of this writing, a localization has not been announced. The official Japanese game website here has details for the story and the main cast.

Pre-registrations are live in Japan for the game on the App Store for iOS here, Google Play for Android here, DMM for PC here, and the official website here. While the links on the YouTube trailer or the social posts might not correctly load, the website sidebar has the correct links for all three platforms.
