Megaton Musashi W: Wired adds pick-up-and-play Megarobo Batroseum online PvP mode on November 26

Level-5 has revealed that the previously announced Megaton Musashi W: Wired content containing the Megarobo Batroseum and crossover pilots will arrive on November 26. It is a free update that all players will receive.

The Megarobo Batroseum online PvP mode is a pick-up-and-play mode where players can choose one of several preset robots from a character selection screen and face-off against other opponents. Up to six combatants can brawl with each other. People can set it as a free-for-all deathmatch in Battle Royale Mode or set it as a team deathmatch through Team Battle Mode.

This new PvP mode is different from the other PvP mode that launched with Megaton Musashi W: Wired, which allowed players to take their custom built Rogue mech into PvP matches. Progressing in both the single player campaign and this previous PvP mode awared them with new parts and modifications that were exclusive to this PvP mode. Megarobo Batroseum, on the other hand, is meant to even the playing field that will allow people, no matter how much they've played, to participate in more relatively balanced matches.

A new Sengi system is introduced in Megarobo Batroseum, as well. It is described as "a special ability unique to the unit type" that can be unleashed by filling up the Sengi gauge through attacking. The following Sengi actions are detailed on the game's official site that includes:

• Balanced - Durability Restoration: Recover HP to ensure you stay in the fight.
• Melee - Slash Launcher: Decimate the battlefield with exceptional melee attacks and the ability to launch a slashing projectile.
• Ranged - Ranged Attack Barrier: Negate incoming ranged attacks and mount a devastating assault from afar.
• Defensive - Temporary Damage Nullifier: Overwhelm the enemy with high durability and limited periods of invincibility.
• Fast - Enemy Lock-On Diasbler: Baffle the opposition by disrupting their targeting system as you move at lightning speed.
• Special - Instant Super Special Move: Deliver catastrophic damage with a powerful special move and turn the tide of battle in an instant.

Additionally, the crossover pilots that were detailed previously will be added into this new free content update. It includes cameo characters Koji Kabuto, Ryoma Nagare, Duke Fleed, Hyoma Aoi, and Kenichi Go to complement the previous Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Grendizer, Voltes V, and Combattler V collaboration units in the game. The special pilots can be used in various missions and online play.
