Dreams Uncorporated fully reveals Prisma, a new upcoming RPG

While the game was revealed earlier this year, Prisma from Dreams Uncorporated (Cris Tales) has finally been fully revealed, alongside gameplay footage and further details about the game.

Players take control of main protagonist Alma, but specifically several different versions of Alma from different universes, each with a unique Prism Shard and a different view of the world they find themselves in. Some Almas are friendly, while others are simply NPCs, or even your enemies. The player must decide which path to take as their own Alma, as they craft bonds and unlock different ways back home.

Crucially, one of the game's key selling points appears to be replayability - with different story routes depending on the bonds with the Almas you make, leading to different party compositions that will also determine each playthrough's set of sidequests available to you. Each playthrough will only allow you to max out your relationship with 4 Almas, requiring multiple playthroughs to get the whole picture out of the game's story. Each Alma you ally with comes with unique skills, and your protagonist Alma can also apply filters on her perspective of reality to shift combat.

Prisma will launch on PC (Steam) sometime in the future. A release window has not yet been set.

Prisma is a captivating 2D JRPG where the protagonist, Alma,a young journalist shares her consciousness with multiple trapped versions of herself from parallel dimensions. These alternate selves, each with distinct abilities, manifest in battle, and by strategically switching between them, you can unlock new powers and tactics. The game features innovative turn-based combat with a camera that manipulates the world through lenses and filters. As you explore, you’ll uncover the mystery behind why these versions of yourself were trapped and how their combined abilities might restore or disrupt the reality. The multiverse is fractured, and your camera is the key to understanding its secrets.
