Nihon Falcom just announced Ys X: Proud Nordics for 2025 release in Japan as a significantly upgraded version of the original game. Platforms for this version of Ys X: Nordics have not been revealed.
Falcom's official announcement and website for Ys X: Proud Nordics only mentions a 2025 release with no platforms listed. It does confirm that this upgraded version will feature new bosses, Mana Ride races, some new story content, and new battles in the arena. As of this writing, an English release has not been confirmed.
