Refint/Games has announced that Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will launch worldwide in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic).
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is a crossover fighting game originally released only in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in 2010. It features characters from Falcom's Ys and Trails series — primarily Ys Seven and Trails In The Sky — alongside other characters from those series and other Falcom franchises. According to the newly-opened Steam page, this re-release will feature English voice acting alongside Japanese voices, support for 4K resolutions and 60FPS, multiplayer support, and more. This English translation work is based on the fan-translation by Geofront, as confirmed on Geofront's official website.
