NieR: Automata surpasses 9 million units sold worldwide

Square Enix has announced that NieR: Automata has surpassed 9 million units sold worldwide. The breakout action RPG sequel reached 8 million units just earlier this year, in February.

The English NieR Twitter account simply posted "This isn't possible without you" alongside the announcement.

We gave NieR: Automata a rare 10/10 score when it launched in March 2017, while the remastered predecessor NieR Replicant received a 9/10 at launch.
