Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader surpasses 1 million units sold

Owlcat Games has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has surpassed 1 million units sold.

The CRPG originally released in December 2023, while the game's first expansion pack — Void Shadows — launched in September 2024. A 2nd expansion pack — Lex Imperialis — is set to release in 2025, adding new explorable locations,new archetypes, and gameplay mechanics. We reviewed Rogue Trader last year, where Bryan called it his "favorite title so far from Owlcat Games".

Owlcat Games is excited to announce that the critically acclaimed CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has reached 1 million sales worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In September 2024, the game received its first massive expansion, Void Shadows, an epic addition that seamlessly integrates into the main narrative. This expansion introduced gripping new quests, formidable enemies, and an unforgettable companion — a mysterious Death Cult assassin.

Currently, the studio is working on the second major expansion, Lex Imperialis. It shifts the spotlight onto a new companion from the Adeptus Arbites and on the collection of the Imperial Tithe. Lex Imperialis will introduce vast new areas to explore, as well as additional game mechanics, archetypes, and new horrors of the Immaterium. The expansion is set to launch later this year, with additional details to be revealed in the coming months.
