The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II Story and Gameplay Demo now available for PS5 and PS4

NIS America has released two demos for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II on PS5 and PS4 with the Story Demo letting you transfer save data to the full game when it launches next month.

The Trails Through Daybreak II Battle Demo lets you play through two floors of the Marchen Garten dungeon with preselected parties. The Trails Through Daybreak II Story Demo lets you play the opening of the game through the Overture. Save data from only this demo carries over to the full game. You can download the demo for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 here. The Story Demo download size is 17.61GB while the Battle Demo download size is 16.373GB on PlayStation 5.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II launches on February 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG) in the West through NIS America.

NIS America, Inc. is excited to share that a story demo and a battle demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II are available now exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, ahead of its release on February 14. Players can now play through the beginning of the thrilling second installment in the highly- acclaimed Trails Through Daybreak saga, with all save data carrying over to the main game upon release.
Story Demo
Play from the start of the game through the Overture. Save data carries over to the main game. Three months after the events of Trails through Daybreak, Van Arkride is once again woken up by a knock on his door – this time by an old friend– Elaine Auclair. It seems there is a mysterious "Crimson Grendel" terrorizing Edith that is somehow linked to Van. Meanwhile, Swin and Nadia are in Calvard's capital Edith searching for a certain someone. How are these two seemingly separate issues linked?
Battle Demo
Play through two floors of the multi-floor dungeon Märchen Garten with two different, pre-selected parties. Save data does not carry over to the main game. The Märchen Garten is an optional area that exists outside of the game world that allows equipment, level gains, and other bonuses obtained within to be used in the main game. Players can build their dream team from a roster of over 15 characters to challenge randomized floors and take part in various side activities and minigames.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam®, Epic Games Store, and GOG) on February 14, 2025. The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II Limited Edition is available now for preorder through the NIS Online Store. The bundle features a deluxe edition of the game, collector's box, art book, art card set, original soundtrack, steelbook, and an atlas of Calvard.
