The Warframe Year in Review 2024 is also now available for all here.

Other highlights from the stream include showcasing the 60th Warframe, Temple, a new collaboration song featuring members of the metal band Periphery and the reveal of Lavos Prime who joins the game on February 12 as the first Prime Warframe of 2025.

Digital Extremes’ Devstream for Warframe today presented the reveal for Warframe: 1999’s follow-up update, Techrot Encore, arriving in March on all platforms. Until then, players can look forward to a bevy of activities and content in February, including Lavos Prime on Feb. 12, the Rhino Heirloom cosmetic skin, new Nightwave rewards and challenges, the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast going live Feb. 6, and ticket sales for TennoCon opening Feb. 7.
Soulframe’s Devstream offered a glimpse at what 2025 has in store for Preludes (Pre-Alpha Test) players, including an expanded world map featuring a new Fable (story quest) and Ancestor with a reflective history to unearth.
"2025 is shaping up to be another wild year, and we can't wait to share more about our big plans with our Warframe and Soulframe players as we prepare to celebrate ten years of TennoCon in July," said Megan Everett, Director of Community at Digital Extremes. "Community is at the heart of everything we do, and this year, we intend to be more consistent and frequent with the updates we offer to Soulframe Preludes players in our Pre-Alpha journey while continuing to deliver the unforgettable community experiences our Warframe players expect and love."
Highlights from the Warframe Devstream include:
Expanding on the events from Warframe: 1999, Techrot Encore welcomes the anticipated arrival of the next entry to the Lich adversary system, Technocyte Coda boy band boss fights, alongside tons of extra additions:
Finish off Infested copies of the hit boy band On-lyne, the Technocyte Coda, in musically charged encounters to be rewarded with one of 13 new Infested weapons.
Out-glam rivals and friendly competition alike as the 60th Warframe, Temple.
Prepare for four new Protoframes surfacing onto the streets of Höllvania. More information on these new Gemini skins and emotes will be ready for transmission soon.
Pursue deepening bonds further with improvements towards the Romance & Relationship System.
Jam to a new original music track via a collaboration with Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb, from the metal band Periphery, as well as vocalist Elliot Coleman from the rock group, Good Tiger.
Reinvent styles with something more fit for the ‘90s era with a collection of new hairstyles, as well as new Scaldra-themed cosmetic gear for the Drifter.
Equip four new Scaldra weapons: a pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher.
Elegantly electrocute enemies with Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin.
Ahead of Techrot Encore’s release in March, new content will be available starting Feb. 6:
Rock out as a revitalized Rhino in the fourth addition to the Heirloom cosmetic skin line available in the Warframe Market.
Return to Ascension in the revival of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast. Bullet jump back into the elevator shaft of a Corpus stronghold in a vertical-focused mission to unlock rewards for a limited time starting Feb. 6 at 2 P.M. ET through March 3.
Expand ‘90s gear collections with Nightwave Vol. 8, offering fresh rewards for those who take on the daily and weekly challenges prepared.
Reflect on past accomplishments in the annual Warframe: Your Year in Review recap, now available for everyone via a new webpage to make sharing player stats more accessible with downloadable individual summary cards to share with others.
Lavos Prime arrives Feb. 12 as the first Prime Warframe of 2025 with two new Prime weapons, just in time for the Year of the Snake:
Lavos, the transmuter, aims to revive the alchemical warfare of an ancient empire. Acting as a jailer to a rogue Orokin alchemist on Venus, Lavos grew close to the prisoner and eventually became his pupil. Consume enemies with serpent whips, skate through enemies on a frozen trail, launch transmutation probes to transform pickups into universal items, and catalyze combatants with gallons of fiery gel.
2025 marks the Tenth Year of TennoCon (July 18-19), tickets on sale Feb. 7:
TennoCon 2025 tickets will go on sale Feb. 7 at 2 P.M. ET, offering three ticket tiers with different benefits and merch packs for each. Information on TennoCon Digital Packs will be available soon.
Across the two days of the show, Warframe fans can look forward to autograph signings, a cosplay contest, dev team panels, new announcements around Soulframe, a brand new activity dubbed the “TennoConcert” in Southwestern Ontario’s biggest arena - Canada Life Place, as well as the main event: the TennoLive keynote presentation. Stay tuned to the official event website for all planned activities and details for TennoCon.
